Why is the updated AVG secure search causing my cursor to constantly move to the address bar. I cant send emails, log in to accounts or anything as a result

Jason, Presume that you're referring to the AVG SafeGuard - New version 18.1?.. I updated to the new AVG Secure Search and since then, when I try to email anyone, log into an account or type in any box other than the address bar, the cursor moves to the address bar. I had to remove the toolbar as a result. Is there a fix for this?
