Why isn't there a way to close this window -- forced trial period

First – I am tired of the constant – "Do you want,  you are in danger,  your files are in danger…bla bla bla" Once I click no I do not want, that should be it.  I have paid for the services I have wanted, and I have said no to the upsales.  Let that be it.  I need protection from AVG's protection upsale tactics.  And this one really bugs me — the one for AVG Performance.  There is no way to close it down with just a simple x close.  And no I do not want a 7 day free trial that I then would have to cancel or I get charged.  So the only way to close that window is to do it through the "end task" option  Ctrl Alt Delete.  So either you have an error on that pop and there SHOULD be an x – and they need to fix it or it's just another one of those annoying pop ups.   I am thinking of leaving AVG but it does have a good protection rep.  Just do we really need to put up with the constant upselling? Please just cut it out.  No means no and then let it be.
