Why laptop stop getting charge even charger is plugged in?

My laptop stop showing charging light even plugged in to the charger outlet. Should i buy a new charger?Using Lenovo thinkpad

Thanks for reply. I am not saying AVG has the issue. Even AVG is working great. I thought you guys are technician and can aasist me in this situation.This is just a random question which shows charging issue.

In this case, we recommend that you contact the system manufacturer (Lenovo) directly for further assistance.

Is the charger plugged in properly? The most common reason the laptop won’t charge even when plugged in is that the charger isn’t inserted correctly at one end or the other. Check the plug end is firmly in the socket and then check the connector to the laptop itself is firmly seated.
