I am trying to utilize the Wi-Fi Security tab on my Android smartphone, but when I tap the "Scan Wi-Fi" button the following message appears:
"Although you are connected to Wi-Fi network, you will not be able to connect to the internet."

What does the message mean? 
I can only advance the scan by tapping, "Ignore" 
[using AVG AntiVirus Free]

Thank you for providing the screenshot. This message indicates that the wifi connection you have connected in your phone does not have an active internet connection. Please check the wifi that is connected in your phone does have a valid internet connection.
