Wi-fi security very slow to show starting to scan ,any idea's

Have just tried to open avg and 4 times it has said that Process system isn't responding . This is on my hp chromebook laptop and I am sitting about 5ft from the hub so it should be picking up the wifi signal .

We're glad to look into this & help you.
Sometimes, this might happen if few services are unable to initiate. 
In this regard, you can either restart the computer once to check or try repairing the AVG program once. 
However, before proceeding, please let us know the version of AVG installed on your computer (Open AVG Internet Security - Menu - About).

If it is AVG Internet Security, then please let us know the version of AVG installed on your computer (Open AVG Internet Security - Menu - About).

Tony, may I know what is the version of operating system installed on your Chromebook? Could you also share a screenshot (https://bit.ly/3e9wJjr) of your AVG?
