WIFI access points not showing up

Hello Rob,
Thank you for reaching AVG Support Community.
We sincerely apologize for the difficulties you are currently experiencing.
From your community post, I understand that the Wifi available networks are not showing up on your PC.
Please customize the AVG Firewall settings (https://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?l=en&urlname=Use-AVG-Enhanced-Firewall) and check if it helps.
1. Please open the AVG AntiVirus FREE on your PC > Click on the Hacker attacks tile.
2. Click Firewall options ▸ Network profiles.
3. Click the drop-down menu in the Profile column and select private.
4. Please open this article and enable all the system rules.
Please try the above steps and let us know the status.
Thank you.

After installing the newest version of the Free AVG software, I no longer can see WIFI access points show up in the network settings on a Windows 10 laptop. I uninstalled the AVG software and I am able to see the access points. When I reinstalled the software, the access points do not show up and Windows scrolls and scrolls forever without showing any WIFI access point available. The only way to connect to a WIFI device is to manually add a network to Windows. Anyone know how to turn off whatever AVG has turned on to not be able to see WIFI access points in Windows 10?

Right-click on Start and click on Device Manager. Expand the Network adapters option. Find your Wi-Fi adapter, right-click on it, and select the option "Update driver software". Also, make sure the Wi-Fi network card is not disabled.
