Wifi constantly dropping out

I have been experiencing ongoing problems with my Lenove Ideapad Z580 constantly dropping its wifi connection. I have several devices using my wifi but this is the only device that has this problem. I also tried to upgrade to AVG full protection but this interferes with my DNS proxy and prevents connection to UK sites. Full protection is now switched off but the wifi dropping has got worse. This problem also affects local connections such as my wifi printer. This very frustrating

The version of AVG is 20.7.3140 (build 20.7.5568.601). I have tried reinstalling AVG sveral imes but it is the same. I am experiencing this problem after installing AVG, if I turn it off I do not have the problem.
