I suggest you to disable AVG and check if you're able to see your wifi name listed.

Please check if you have updated the program to the latest version 20.3 version.

Also, monitor if you experience the same in your mobile device after disabling AVG.

I am not a bit techie!!! Ive noticed a few problems with my pc over the last few months (churning noise in background, DNS server messages and more) but  I in last week I am  unable to connect to the internet because the icon has disappeared and is no longer appearing in the settings as an option. I did find that Qualcomm Atherous AR9485 driver had been switched off so I turned it back on and everything seemed back to normal for the rest of the evening. Only trouble is when I next logged on the driver was still showing as working properly but the WiFi had disappeared again. I've also got problems with my mobile that it keeps doing random changes like changing my keyboard giving and a mind of its own and opening up any webpages in a 2 stage process so not sure if the two are connected. Any help appreciated. Thanks
