Will Mimic help access sites that currently deny VPN?

I was reading up on the experimental Mimic protocol.  I am not all that technical so I might be misunderstanding things.  However it sounds like Mimic should help users access sites that currently block traffic when I am logged into AVG VPN.  Is that part of the goal of Mimic or am I misunderstanding the goal of the protocol? I should note, in case it matters, that I have the mac version of AVG products.

If that is not the case, is there anyway around that issue? I even have trouble sending emails (I use MS Outlook for Mac) to certain recipients when logged into VPN

Please clarify whether you're able to access the websites, sending/ receiving email with outlook without any error.
Are you using any other VPN service at the same time with AVG Secure VPN?
If you're facing any trouble while accessing the Streaming sites, etc, please try changing the AVG Secure VPN location to streaming locations suck as USA Miami, Wonderland, Gotham city, etc and check the status. 
Regarding the email sending issue with Outlook, please follow the steps mentioned in the below article and check the status.
