May I know which AVG program you are trying to install?
Did you get as "Description: event exec finished" error along with this code 0xC0070643?
Do you have any other third party antivirus program installed on your PC?

I purchased your product today, I have tried numerous times to download it. But it will not install

We request you to try using our AVG remover tool once and install AVG program.
1) To download our AVG remover tool, please click on this link: http://af-download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_Remover.exe
2) Run the downloaded file and follow the onscreen instructions.
NOTE: Once the remover tool done with the progress please go to C:\ drive and delete the "AVG remover" folder.

I have the same problem as Ita and I did get that "Description: event exec finished" error. 

How can we remedy this?
