seeng my computer doesn't start I can't take a screenshot now can I
I'm currently doing a chkdsk /r through the dosprompt i'm able to enter after the automatic repair sais it cannot repair the start up problem.
just ran an pc tune up this afternoon, after restarting my comp the screen halts at the "win 7 is starting up" screen. Automatic recovery states, cannot recover and all my restore points are gone. What am I to do?
my phone sends sms and can accept calls, that's all it does. There really isn't much to see, it's the windows start up logo with under it "windows is starting up" and that's it. After that first restart, i get the option to start recovery or start windows normally. Loading normally just leads to the screen mentioned above, recovery brings me to a couple of options as opening dosprompt, recovery, I'm doing a chkdsk /r for the last 2 hours and it's at 63%
it's done, there were bad clusters in a file avgdidp-1.log (i don't find the tilt key on this apple ,)) they've been replaced.
just restarded, got option to start recovery or start normally, choose normally and from the kitchen table (eating atm ;)) it looks like the pc has indeed started up.
Thank you for the information.
