I have had exactly the same problem. I started playing on Football manager 2013 after a steam update and all of a sudden that virus message popped up. The game was working fine yesterday.  Is it a virus?

i have the same problem after installed FM2015, also avg detected heim in the fm.exe file,

what to do now? how can u help me ?

Hi Richard. Thanks for the information, did the  AVG show the notification alert ?. May I know which AVG program have you installed in your computer. If AVG showed the virus alert then it would have removed the virus automatically or it will be  moved the file to AVG virus vault. If you find the file in the virus vault you can submit the sample to AVG virus lab using this link http://www.avg.com/submit-sample to find whether it is a false alert or not.

I have exactly the same issue - installed Football Manager 2015 on Steam from the sale. Haven't touched the game yet - and AVG is reporting a WinHelm virus in fm.exe

I'm pretty sure Steam virus scans everything before they release - and it's not like SEGA, the publisher, is likely to let a virus through, so I'm pretty sure this is a false positive.

I was playing Football Manager 2015 on Steam and all of a sudden the game crashes and I got a virus notification,



The file in question then proceeded to duplicate itself which made me worried as I looked at the definition of the virus.

I tried scanning the file with VT and it came up with AVG clean, which is very strange.

Can anyone help me with this? Is this a false positive? Will this be resolved soon?
