Win64:EVO-gen[susp]

Screenshot of AVG threat popup

I received a notice when trying to start my TOR Browser.
Threat Secured
We've secured firefoc.exe[6648] because it was infected with Win64:Evo-gen[susp]
detected by anti-exploit shield

Has anyone else had this issue?  How do I fix it?

It is doing it again!  I need an answer of exactly how I can prevent this from happening.
Please send me detailed instructions on how to keep AVG Internet Security from blocking Firefox.exe in my Tor Browser.  This is really annoying the hell out of me.  Firefox.exe being quarantined again.

I only get this when I try to use my Tor Browser.  Edge works but the firefox browser within Tor does not work.  I redownloaded and installed the latest Tor Browser Win64 11.0.14.   But it still doesn't work.

Hello David,

Thank you for sharing us the screenshot. Could you please confirm whether you are getting this error code only when you open Firefox or all browsers?

Kindly reset the Browsers once and check the status. We look forward for your rresponse.

That worked to get it back and working again.  But was it truly infected?  Or was it a false positive?
