I have tha same problem, the control panel doesn't show any enabled protection, the upgrade doesn't work. It says "unknown" for each protection. I did the upgrade, which doesn't work, the 15/08 and today I was asked the same upgrade, which doesn't work.
The message error says: "An error occurred during the configuration. No connection established."
It gives a link to an AVG page which says, broadly speaking: "We don't know what happened. AVG can't give you an aswer yet."
My first worry is: Am I protected by AVG 2015 free?

Latley I upgraded to free version windows 10. System has a glitch.
