Windows 10 Installation Failure

Quick summary, HUGE issue:

AVG has not been installed on my system for over a year now.  A COMPLETE uninstall of AVG was done.  I am running Windows 7 x64.  When I attempt to upgrade to Windows 10, setup reaches the initial scan point, then halts, and says I must manually remove AVG Identity Theft Protection 9 before continuing.  The program is NOT in the uninstall list, there are NO references to ANY AVG product in the registry (Yes, I went through every avg* variance), there are NO avg*.dll or avg*.sys files ANYWHERE on the system, nor can I find any other AVG file or folder.  I HAVE run the Identity Theft 9 removal program from AVG, and have run the complete uninstall program, with the same results.  Oddly enough, I attempted to INSTALL the 2015 Free version, and the installation fails, just giving a "Installation Failed" error…so … SOMETHING is hanging on there…

I am currently running McAfee Suite as current AV.  I am completely out of ideas.  Please…Anyone?

Thank you in advance,

Jason
