Windows 10 keeps telling me AVG is out of date but you say it is upto date

I apologize for the inconvenience. Please follow the instructions in this article http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-uninstall-AVG to run the remover tool. After restart, download and run AVG Clear tool: https://share.avg.com/steam/PSP/AVG2017/AVG_Clear.exe . This tool will help with removing antivirus component of AVG 2017 and its traces. Open tool User Account control - click "Yes" Windows safe mode - click "No" (we cannot recommend use the tool in safe mode, because there is a problem with compability) Choose installed version (AVG Free, AVG Internet Security) Click "Uninstall" Click "Restart computer".

Every time I switch on my laptop, windows 10 comes up with the message that it is out of date.I try to update but avg say's it already is.Sometimes windows tells me update failed due to corrupted file. I have try repairing and reinstalling but still no luck.The only way I have found to get it to work is on the dashboard when avg is in red is to open all messages where it tells me the link is broken ,I click on fixit and instantly it fixes it and avg turns green.This only lasts until I switch off the laptop,when I start another session the same thing happens again.I have used AVG free edition since I don't know when and never had any trouble.Help please

Once uninstalled,  Please use the below offline installer link to install AVG Antivirus free in your computer.
Note: Before starting the installation, please select "Basic protection" to install AVG Free.

For 64 bit OS: http://files-download.avg.com/inst/mp/Antivirus_Free_x64_1818.exe
For 32 bit OS: http://files-download.avg.com/inst/mp/Antivirus_Free_x86_1819.exe
