I'm constantly having issues with syncing my mail using the Windows 10 mail app. I've read a lot online about this being due to Firewall protection settings etc. I also get the impression that Microsoft are saying it is an issue with your Firewall provider and AVG seem to say it is an issue with Microsoft. 

The mail app syncs, but it does take a long time to connect and download new messages. When it is working it works well and there's no problems to speak about. When it doesn't work the mail app says it is syncing and this can take up to half an hour and then attachments cannot be downloaded.

A solution, either by AVG or Microsoft, appears to be a long way off. Is there any safe and reliable work around or is it something we have to suffer with until a time when someone works out the issue?
