Yesterday while I was updating my Windows 10 laptop, the screen went blank and no sign of recovery. I can see the power light is ON and fan is running but no screen/display. I have tried to shut down by holding power key and its letting the laptop shut down but when I press the power button again the computer does not display boot sequence or Compaq logo and stays black.

What can be the reason for this.
