Since the Windows 10 fall update my computer is... I don't know how to describe it... "forgetting" AVG... Totally lost here. Since fall update I've installed/repaired AVG free at least a dozen times. I'll boot up computer > it tells me I have no antivirus or windows defender activated > repair AVG > AVG is good for the next 1 or 2 bootups. After 1 or 2 bootups it tells me the same thing, that I have no antivirus or windows defender. In addition, In addition, haven't gotten a task bar icon since the original creator update, and I've gotten 2 blue screens. All my start menu and desktop shortcuts are there as well as the program still being installed, but clicking the shortcut (any of them desktop or start menu) brings up a thing to find where AVG is installed. I've googled where it should be found AND IT'S JUST NOT THERE. Windows is doing something to AVG every so often and IDK what. I've run Malwarebytes, Spybot S&D, AVG (when it works), System File Checker, Windows 10 auto repair from advanced startup options, done disc cleanup, everything I can think of. SOMETHING is making my computer forget that AVG is on my computer and I'm getting really frustrated.

Is my only option at this point to redo windows?
