Windows 10 Unable to connect to internet

Open add remove programs all AVG programs are marked as disabled there is no option click repair only option is uninstall 

NOTE - All AVG programs are listed TWICE

Go to Start -> Control Panel.
Note: Click Settings first if Control Panel is not available in the Start menu.
Open (Programs) -> Programs and Features, or Add or Remove Programs.
Select AVG in the list of programs. ALL MARKED DISABLED
Click the Change or Change/Remove button. THIS BUTTON IS NOT AVAILABLE
Select Repair. THIS OPTION IS NOT AVAILABLE
Follow the instructions on your screen to complete the installation. NOT AVAILABLE
Restart your computer.

To everyone having an issue with ethernet or network connections after an update:
Go to network connections > right click properties  > uncheck AVG network filter driver
This will avoid hours of the frustration we had trying to find out how to fix the issue.  I only saw it by chance.  Good luck!

Unable to connect to internet via wireless or Ethernet cable.

All windows diagnostic tools can't find issue got issuse 314 (no connection)

If windows firewall is disabled in AVG I can then conect to internet

Problem seems to be AVG security settings

Am I correct? Please advise
