Windows 10 Updates - PC restarting

Hello Eric,
What happened to your computer is really unfortunate. I request you to install AVG Internet Security on your computer and I request you to change AVG Firewall network profile to private (open AVG Internet Security > menu > settings > components > firewall > customize > network profile > change all the network public to private), please go to Firewall customize settings again > scroll down > click on system rules > enable all the system rules if it's not configured, please click OK and check if your Windows computer updates is running fine with enabled AVG Internet Security.
Best regards,
Alok.

Windows 10 started randomly restarting about a month ago, from the windows event viewer recorded 29 critical errors.
Ran all the usual checks with AVG PC tuneup and virus/malware checks still happened,
thought it was the computer, contacted the shop I bought it from.
First suggestion was to uninstall AVG, done that yesterday and restarted the PC, and the PC started to install a number of Windows 10 updates… so far no more restarts.
Has anyone had the same problem or is there a solution to have AVG running so that Windows updates will install

spoke too soon, was just reading your reply and went too look at the windows updates notes
when windows 10 restarted itself.
Sounds like the problem may be hardware and not AVG
Thanks
Eric
