Windows 10 Upgrade Trashed AVG TuneUp (Multi-device)

Hi Roslyn,

I followed the email.  Everything has installed.  Have not exercised the app yet.  I don't like doing the "in place" upgrades–I prefer clean installs for this very reason, but really had no choice at this time.

Thanks again!

Have been running Windows 7 Home Premium for years with AVG TuneUp (1-10 devices) subscription for the last 3 years (other versions prior to that).

My tax program has forced me to upgrade to Windows 10.  I could not install the last update to the Tax program "because Windows 7 is no longer supported".  (Of course they didn't tell us that BEFORE we used it for this year's taxes…different complaint.)  And, without the latest update to the tax program, we cannot file electronically or print from the program.

I ran the free Windows 10 upgrade on the system yesterday.  (I had downloaded the upgrade in January and made the install disk.)  Upgrade appears to have worked.  My systray icon for AVG TuneUp indicated it needed to run.  Tried to run it and received a message that it needed the activation code/license code.

Copied and pasted my code from the AVG Support Subscription info in my account.  AVG TuneUp said it was invalid.

Do I need to uninstall my old AVG TuneUp and install a different version now that I'm running Windows 10?  This is one of the reasons I did NOT want to upgrade to Windows 10 at this time.  It was first on my ToDo list, after the taxes were done and filed.

Do I need to do something else?  I like AVG TuneUp, but if I don't get this resolved in the next month or so, I will cancel my subscription and look for alternative utilities.
