Hi, just a simple question please: When I decide to power off W11, AVG increase the time to power off my pc, is there a special setup that we can do with AVG to accelerate the time to power off?
Note: this is going when before to close I use the streaming Netflix or Prime video, if I close the pc
without use of streaming there is no increase to close my pc??
Thanks,
Hi Rene,

Regarding your concern, Could you please try temporarily disabling AVG and check the timetaken to poweroff? Please refer the article below to temporarily disable AVG Antivirus:

In Windows 11, powering off your computer can be done in a few different ways:
Using the Start menu:
Click on the Start button located in the center of the taskbar or press the Windows key on your keyboard.
Click on the Power icon, which looks like a circle with a vertical line inside it.
From the drop-down menu, select "Shut down" to power off your computer completely.
Using the power button:
On your computer or laptop, you can typically find a physical power button located on the case or keyboard.
Press and hold the power button for a few seconds until your computer shuts down.
Using the Alt+F4 shortcut:
Ensure that you have no open applications or windows active on your screen.
Press the Alt key on your keyboard and while holding it, press the F4 key.
A dialog box will appear with the options to "Shut down," "Restart," or "Sleep." Choose "Shut down" to power off your computer.
Since I have submitted the problem, now, when I shutdown the pc there is a normal delay with the power off. I think that AVG have resolved the problem with a short update, even if it AVG have not published!
Thanks,
