Hello, Milivoje.
I understand the inconvenience this may have caused. Please check and uninstall if you have a conflicting anti virus application installed on your PC as they will compete for resources, which may result in slowdowns, crashes or in no protection at all. If it is only AVG Anti Virus free that you are using, please disable AVG Self protection and check if the BSOD issue persist.
Open AVG Anti Virus Free, click on Menu -> Settings -> Troubleshooting -> Uncheck "Enable AVG Self protection".
Make sure that your Windows is installed with latest updates, AVG is up to date with latest virus definitions and run a deep virus scan (http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-start-or-plan-a-computer-scan).
Hi at the AVG community.
As you can see in my Topic head I'm facing this stupid BSOD with my Windows7 notebook since I have installed AVG Antivirus Free.
The BSOD 0x000000f4 CRITICAL OBJECT TERMINATION in ntkrnlpa.exe+debfc (caused by AVG services if I can believe the Bluescreenview tool and his report) begins with stressing the CPU with 50% what I easy can check out because the notebooks fan will become louder and its spin higher. The when I look into the Task Manager a svchost service uses 50% of CPU, that's the signal for me that when I try to reboot or shutdown Windows, this BSOD for sure will occur.
For now I have probe a repair installation of the Antivirus Free suite, but think that this will not become enough to solve my BSOD problem. If there is here someone who can post me a more effective solution to stop this BSOD problem which costs my nerves and for sure is not good for my OS which is up to date, I would be very thankful for that. With best regards from Mr. Milivoje Glavasevic.
