Are you able to access the repair options?
If you can, please try to use system restore option to reset the settings to an earlier date where everything was working fine.
I finally got my pc to work again, turns out it needed a power supply. I was so happy to get it fixed because theres so much information i have needed on there. Its on windows 7 still. The problem is when i got on, it reset to update. Then the fun began. If i try to start the computer in any way INCLUDING from the boot disk, it freezes at the logo loading windows. If I run in safe mode, it gets stuck on avgidsha.sys. Since AVG Rescue disks dont exist anymore, how in the world am I going to fix this. I need the info on there, but i cant even get to the recovery menu. I cant get to command prompt. I cant get to anything but bios, f8 menu, and the startup repair or start windows normally window. Ive literally tried everything i could find about this issue. Since AVG customer service wont help me because I used the FREE edition, will someone please save my life? Thanks for your time.

No, It freezes when i load after i choose any option from f8. everytime i choose any option, it freezes on the loading screen. I really dont know how I can get avg off so this will work. I truely dont understand why theres not a solution for this. It gets caught on the avg file no matter what i do.

AVG program wont affect your computer. We have to find the root cause of the issue to get it sorted.
Did you made any recent changes with AVG or any other program before the crash?
