Windows cannot find 'c:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\root\Office16\EXCEL.EXE'.Make sure

Hi Jeffry,
for a quick fix of your problems you can disable the Tune Up Sleep Filter by setting the "UseFilter" DWORD from 1 to 0 in your registry in

Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Image File Execution Options<name of your blocked .exe file>

Sarath,

It would have been great customer service to notify users that there was a fault. Like Fran and Eugen I have wasted a fair amount of time searching for a fix.

Would be good to get a fix from Avast. Rather than relying on this fix from Markus.

After latest update on TuneUp most important programs are not working on my computer : Word, Excel, Acrobat Reader and else - most of the programs are not working even I reinstall - lost a lot of time here and no alternatives. Waiting your reply or a solution to remove TuneUp.

Hello,
I had the same problem and had to restore Windows ti a recovery point and uninstall Tune Up. Only spend a whole working day
Not very happy with TuneUp

This worked for me as well.  Thanks

Thank god this fix worked! Thank you, Markus!

I'm stunned AVG hasn't made an announcement for those who haven't figured out the problem is with the Tune Up program and not Microsoft. At the very least there should be a giant banner when you open Tune Up saying what happened and what they're doing about it.  I've lost working hours over this and expect that we'll all be compensated.
