Hello John,
We will check and help you to resolve it. We understand that you are unable to save and access MS Office documents.
As you already have AVG programs installed in your PC, we do not recommend user to have multiple Anti-virus to avoid conflicts. Normally, Anti-virus programs will not block the save option of MS office.
We request you to uninstall Windows Defender once and check whether MS office works fine. Keep us updated. Thank you.
I use AVG (everything) which means that I do not use Windows Defender and it is quite happy to leave all its functions as happily covered by AVG - except one. A recent Software update of the software that I use in place of MS Office will no longer save documents becasue I do not have "Controlled Folder Acces" (CFA) set to accept this sofware… O course, becasue I do not use Windows Defender then I do not have access to CFA…I can get round the problem using AVG itself and 'Allow Apps' and accept each one by name.
Question: should I allow Windows Defender to do something (anything)?
