Hello Peter. Just to be clear, do you mean that you downloaded AVG to repair your Windows files? If yes, I would like to let you know that Windows files cannot to repaired by AVG software. I asked this question yesterday re repeated error messages due to incorrectly installed AVG update and was asked for a screen shot which I managed but couldn't send on an email as requested as it was a non return e mail. I then downloaded an AVG for windows repair file, which hasnt worked . I have just asked for a chat but the pop up didn't occur and Im not sure how to go to browser and allow it.
