Windows Firewall/AVG Firewall

Hello Jerry,
We apologize for the inconvenience caused.
We understand how something like this will try your patience.
Have you tried to scan your system using AVG Internet Security?
Is that any threats detected in your system scan?
Is there any other Antivirus program installed on your system? If so, we kindly request you to please uninstall it. Conflicting Antivirus might also slow down your system speed.
Thank you.

Jerry,
Sorry for the inconvenience caused.  Our AVG program is capable of detecting and removing the malware programs, however there are numerous number of malware programs emerging day by day and we are working 24/7 to add all those definitions to our database. We request you to start uninstalling all unknown, unnecessary programs from your computer, make sure you don't uninstall the windows programs. Also remove all the weird, unwanted add-ons, plugins, extensions, tool bars and search bars from your web browsers, if the issue persists, reset your browsers once. This should fix your issue.
Please feel free to contact us should you need any assistance.
Thank you.

Recently istalled AVG Internet Security and Windows 7 system is running terrible slow. Should Windows firewall not be disabled? Mine still shows it's enabled. Anything else that could be causing me problems? My internet connection is running at about half speed and the overall computer speed is slow and it's a brand new computer. Are there a way to specificlly scan for Malware with the AVG Internet Security?

No, there's no other antivirus installed, only AVG and what Windows 7 comes with. I have ran the scan and it also runs automatically and has found no problems and no viruses. I had a previous version and had to download Malwarebytes to correct a problem that AVG wouldn't detect. This was on a completely different computer. That's why I was asking if there was some way to scan for Malware with the version of AVG that I have now. I did notice in doing an internet search that there was an AVG site for a free Malware tool. Back to the Windows firewall, if it's enabled, would it not conflict with the AVG firewall?
