Did you try to check whether Outlook program is put to sleep mode in AVG TuneUp?
Did you try to disable to AVG Internet Security Email shield and check for the issue?
May I know the version of AVG Internet Security program installed on your PC?

My Outlook is working very bad (slow when changing folders) and outlook indicates that this is due to the anti-virus Add-in, which is AVG. Does anyone else have this problem and knows how to deal with it?
