Hello Roy,
We will look into it. Have you used AVG Clear and remover tool to uninstall AVG?

Please share the screenshot of error message if the issue persists.

i have been having the same problem. ive uninstalled avg and reinstalled it a dozen times. it still says its not compatible with the update, it even says that when its uninstalled. ive used the avgclean.exe and still wont install the windows 1903 update.

AVG_Cear.exe and AVG_Remover.exe will not clear all instances of the AVG exe file, especially if it is hiding in the Google Drive folder on the laptop. In my case I removed it manually and the Windows 10, 1903 update installed. Do a search of the C: drive and other drives on your laptop for AVGui.exe and find all AVG exe files

Widows 10 update (1903) will not run. It says AVG is not compatible with Windows and suggests updating the product. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Free AVG but this has not resolved the problem. Please advise, thank you, Roy

Yes, some of AVG traces may get left over even after running AVG clear and remover tools. We always recommend our customers to delete the AVG folders in C drive manually.
