Windows update error code

Hello Larry,

Our AVG program shouldn't interrupt the Windows update.
However, we request you to completely reinstall AVG using our AVG remover tool once.
1) To download the AVG remover tool please click on this link:
http://aa-download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_Remover.exe
2) Run the downloaded tool and follow the instructions displayed on your screen.
3) Your computer will be restarted automatically. After the restart, AVG Remover will finish the uninstallation.
NOTE: Once the AVG Remover Tool has done with its process. Please go to the C drive and look for a folder named as "AVG Remover" and I request you to delete it manually.

To download, install and activate AVG Internet Security please follow the instructions mentioned in this link: http://avgread.me/1DXPL5z .
Check whether you able to update Windows and do let us know the status.

when i tried to run windows update I kept getting error code 0x800706d9. it was the  feb. update . when i disabled AVG firewall and enabled windows firewall windows update work. so what do I do to keep this from happening again . up to this time windows update worked fine . I like my AVG internet security. no proplems doing its job. is this a AVG proplem or is this a proplem with windows 10 and Big Bill .
