I understand your concern. Please send me the screenshot http://avgclick.me/getscreenshot of the error message you receive from AVG. Also try to run AVG repair avgclick.me/RepairAVG from your computer control panel and check if that fix the issue.
Ive had to use a restore point after a window 10 update failed. Now I cannot get AVG internet security to run at all, could you give me some advice please?

Ive downloaded the clear tool and run the program, but Avg is reporting I have a 2016 version installed
and it's reporting I have to use something else.
