Windows Upgrade when the AVG Ultimate expired and renewed

Hi Kim,

Sorry to hear about the situation.

If I understand correctly, the issue might have occurred due to the Windows Update. I suggest you try Rebooting your computer in Safe Mode and check if you're able to boot. In case issue persists, please contact Microsoft Support.

If you're able to Boot into Safe Mode successfully, please remove AVG Ultimate and check if you're able to Login into Normal Mode. If yes, please contact us immediately and we will look into it.

Hi.
AVG Ultimate was renewed before it expired (renewed on 1/29 by activation code, expired on 1/30/18), I thought everything is OK since it was renewed before expiration. But yesterday when all (3) PCS were turned on, all of them went to Windows Upgrade mode automatically (actually no choice to users). it took more than 20min and still booted multiple times, finally it ended up with freezing. I could not help but to manually shut down the pc. all of (3) pcs are now appeared to be clashed… Login screen comes out, after Login Password, it went to black screen and nothing worked.
All of (3) pcs are exactly identical same problem. Does AVG affect this harddisk clash? Is there any remedy on this?. we are so desperate and devastated…so Frustrated now… Don't know what to do… Thanks for your input on this…
