Wireguardtun.exe is overloading my data usage

Good day, I am experiencing very high data usage too inspecting Win 10 Data Usage App, I found wireguardtun.exe is overloading my data usage (2.61 GB) and openvpn.exe (633 MB).

My daily activity on this computer entails reading/answering e-mails (+/-20), browsing products (+/-3) on Google and answering WhatsApps (+/-5).

This is very low data usage activity.

Please advice me re high data usage.

Thank you for your feedback.

The VPN Protocol Settings were set to "Automatic" prior to the screenshot provided in the previous conversation.

I'm currently using an unprotected (non-VPN protected) system in order to conserve data and get the job done.

Please advice.

Thank you for providing us the info, Joe. 
It seems that the VPN protocol needs to be modified. 
Please follow these steps & let us know if it helps : Open AVG Secure VPN - Menu - Settings - VPN protocols - Change it to Automatic.
