Good day Dinesh Krishnan, I am experiencing very high data usage too, inspecting Win 10 Data Usage App, I found wireguardtun.exe is overloading my data usage (2.61 GB) and openvpn.exe (633 MB).
My daily activity on this computer entails reading/answering e-mails (+/-20), browsing products (+/-3) on Google and answering WhatsApps (+/-5).
Very low activity in my opinion. Please advice me re high data usage.

I do alot of online streaming everyday and never had a problem. For the past 2 weeks online videos have been buffering alot so I looked in to the network & internet status/data usage and this wireguard tunnel has been using the full capacity than the other applications. I have to "reset usuage stats" every time for it to stop buffering.
How do I resolve thi matter? It is really frustrating when your watching and all of the sudden its buffering.

In this case, we'd request you to change the location/server of your AVG Secure VPN to one of the 'Streaming' or 'Torrenting' servers available, change the VPN protocol to 'Mimic' and check if the issue persists.
To change the AVG Secure VPN protocol, please follow the below steps:
Open AVG Secure VPN > Menu > Settings > Protocols > Select Mimic.
Also, if you could share us a screenshot of the Data usage statics you're referring to, it'd be most help helpful.

Please clarify whether you've tried changing the protocol to Mimic, as suggested by our colleague in the previous post.
If not, please change the protocol & let us know the outcome.
