With AVG active, it messes with my Microsoft Word page numbering, why

Did you have anyother antivirus installed in your device?
Did you try repair the AVG Antivirus application?

Using Microsoft Word 365, I insert footer with page numbers with all working fine.  Once I use AVG free version, the foot changes and the page numbering is off and only thinks there are 2 pages.
