With AVG Ultimate, my android- should I need to pay to upgrade to the pro cleaner and anti-virus?

Hello Chris,

As you have an active subscription of AVG Ultimate.

There is no need to purchase the upgrade separately for the android device.

You can use the AVG Ultimate subscription to active AVG programs on your android device.

Open AVG, click on the three dot icon at the top right corner of the interface and login to your AVG MyAccount to activate the product.

AVG Zen no longer works with the latest version of AVG.

Please install latest version of AVG from "Google Play Store" to activate the pro version.

With the AVG "Ultimate" subscription, my android- should I need to pay to upgrade to the pro cleaner and anti-virus?
Furthermore, using my PC to monitor how my android is being protected(dashboard), it indicates scans have not been performed in weeks/months. Scan in progress never finishes. With the Zen platform obsolete, do I lose any "sync" feature with other devices?  Does any body else have these issues?

Chris, we suggest you to activate the subscription to enable the paid features by following the below instructions on both your PC and mobile device.

We suggest you to follow the instructions in this article to know how to activate your AVG Ultimate program on your PC.

Also follow the below instructions to activate your PRO subscriptions on your android:

1. Open AVG Antivirus or AVG Cleaner app in your device.
2. Tap on drawer on top-left and select Login or My Account.
3. Enter AVG My Account email () and password.

And activate your subscription.

Hey Chris,

I have been through with the same situation, where I was keen to install the AVG Antivirus in my Android but can't do that as I was using a free version and a friend of mine suggested to get a paid and subscribed version of AVG Antivirus for full protection.
