With AVG ZEN, Tuneup not working

I had tech support take over my computer and really screwed it up.  TuneUp will not uninstall nor will it reinstall.  Still trying to work on that.  Come to find out that tech support said:  I apologize for the inconvenience, I checked and see that PC Tuneup is re-activated by the wrong license number and the status of AVG PC TuneUp license is changed to EXPIRED.  we are currently working on fix and I confirm that your issue will be resolved soon.  That might help if I could ever get it reinstalled correctly.  I have been using computers since the original PC, this is the first time tech support left it in worse shape than when they started.

Hi all,
It might be necessary to reconnect after another product installation see this Kb article.
Thanks

t me in on this issue. After a mandatory windows update and reboot I have no AVG working. Zen says it cannot connect to servers, though it's as if Ultimate Pro has been uninstalled. I uninstalled everything AVG and tried re-installing… but I get error emssages 0xe001f632/0xe001f641 and no protection. Waiting to get this resovled!

Is there an update on this, I'm having the same issues and I can't seem to find a solution!

As with Mr Lake, just "upgraded" (Aug 12) from PC Tuneup and have been getting message that my "full performance" has expired-only one-click maint works (and it doesn't- gets stuck in browser analysis). I don't understand any of your answers above. What exactly do I do? I should have never "upgraded" to this confusing product.

Purchased AVG Zen today.  Uninstalled TuneUp PC on my computers and installed AVG Zen on three of my PCs.  On my desktop, aftger rebooting, the antivirus works just fine, but it says that my "full performance" was expired.  Just purchased it today.  I am signed in, but the TuneUp side of t hings does not seem to register it.  Have tried reinstalling, but I get the same thing. This image is not available because: You don’t have the privileges to see it, or it has been removed from the system

Steve, Have a look @ the article (https://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=AVG-Protection-or-Performance-subscription-expired-after-installation-of-another-product) again covered in the Zbynek | AVG E

I am having the exact same issue, and would love to find out how to resolve it.  I attempted to contact support.  The chat feature is not available despite being within the time frame shown for availability.  When I chose the phone option, it made me fill in several more fields, none of which were my phone number, forced me to log in, and then dumped me here.  I've used TuneUp for years, but this new incarnation is very disappointing based on first impressions.

I have same issue, please can AVG respond to this.

I believe this is a problem on the AVG servers.  I have AVG Ultimate and I have this problem across all three of my windows devices.  There is a glitch somewhere in their system.  This morning, not only did Performance want me to renew, but it encouraged me to install AVG Antivirus FREE.  Come on, guys!
