I work for wowapp.com, we've developed a messenger called WowApp, which is normally whitelisted for AVG. We've had to update our code-signing certificate and now we are considered a threat.
I used the form from https://www.avg.com/en-ww/whitelist-program-application to apply for the whitelisting and then i received an email telling me it wasn't the correct channel for whitelisting, then pointed me to the same website asking me to do it again:
"Hello,
Thank you for contacting AVG.
We would like to inform you that whitelisting through this channel is no longer supported. To whitelist your files, please enter the AVG whitelisting program.
To enter the whitelisting program, fill out form on our web page: Whitelisting Program Application.
After submitting the form, you will receive credentials for FTP server. E-mail notification after uploading the files is not needed. Files are processed automatically.
