Wrong DNS assigned

Hi Ingo.
We'll certainly look into this.
I'd request you to temporarily disable Fake website shield in AVG and verify the issue.
To disable Fake Website Shield, open AVG Internet Security and select the Payments tile. Click the green (ON) slider above Fake Website Shield, select for how long the feature will remain disabled, and click OK to confirm the action. The slider then changes to red.

hello - AVG Internet Security - on my PC/Win7
I'm travelling arround with my laptop a lot. Sitting in one of my 2 offices (2 cities) I switch on my LAN cable but get the wrong ip-adress from my local network

i.e. nslookup OURSERVER should deliver something like 10.0.x.x
BUT WITH AVG turned on it delivers the PUBLIC 91.123.xx.x

for me it seems that AVG saves my PUBLIC serveradresses and overrules the local networkconfigs

is there any solution for this problem?

can I limit AVG according to this unasked behaviour?

kind regards, ingo.ortner@thelounge.net
