Hi... its seems that I and numerous other people are having wrong VPN connections to servers based on our selection of server/country.

I recently replied to David M's post and Dinesh (AVG rep) told me to post my own question referencing David's post.

OK... so I'll reference David's and other peoples posts to get the big picture for understanding...

"WireGuard Adaptor" in which I think causes all the problems.

Here's my post that I responded to in David M's post for reference...

I have same problem as David M.  but in Australia.
I usually connect to the Melbourne Optimal Server and it usually gives me an IP starting with 185.xxx.xxx.xxx.

It is now either giving me the same as what David stated above ...
66.115.149.XXX: Performive Country: United States, Washington, Seattle City
or another one in Texas:
199.187.211.38    Performive LLC:   City: Dallas  Region: Texas   Country: United States

What i find completely strange is the IP address 199.187.211.38  is associated with the Seattle and Texas ones at the same time on different "whatsmy ip " websites... check it out...
https://www.whatsmyip.org/
https://whatismyipaddress.com/
https://www.whatismyip.com/

I did an IPconfig command (as run as admin) and it shows a "WireGuard Adaptor" in which I think causes all the problems.

Searching AVG community i found this post...

and another related one...

and another one that AVG did NOT provide an answer to as usual...
Secure VPN Wireguard

To Dinesh... you asked David...
"Please clarify how you found that the IP address is different from the server to which you're connected through Secure VPN".

Pretty damn obvious Dinesh... you just look at the "Virtual IP address that Secure VPN gives you ( or in this case what the "WireGuard" gives you)...

As you can see with the attached screenshots it shows the "Australia, Melbourne" location with the Texas IP (or Seattle IP) of 199.187.211.38    (update... or Miami or Germany).
instead of the usual 185.xxx.xxx.xxx  for the Melbourne VPN server.

In re of the above "Link 1"... i am connected via Ethernet cable and have all Wireless adaptors disconnected (therefore Not WiFi network)...
I have TCP /IPv6 disconnected or dis-enabled in my Ethernet connection settings...
but find it strange that the Command window shows "Link-Local IPv6" for the AVG Secure VPN Wireguard ???

I then opened Control Panel (I'm still running WIN8.1)... then Network and Sharing.. clicked "Change Adaptor Settings"...
disabled the "WireGuard" settings... VPN then Auto-reconnected back to the Secure VPN... (in which is what i wanted in the first place)
and connected to the 185.xxx.xxx.xxx usual Melbourne Optimal Address.

So I don't know what the frigging hell is going on here... but at least its connected to the Melbourne server again and not Seattle or Texas.

UPDATE:It is now connecting to a Miami server 212.102.60.157, besides Seattle, Texas, Germany at other times.

P.S. I also cant attached images from my PC.. can only reference an URL. Will try and attached images in replies.
