I registered for internet protection when I already had it so I asked my son to delete the small box on the computer( I do not know their names but it was AVG and it has been deleted). As a result I thought the payment would not be taken out. However it came out yesterday for £34.99.Why should I pay for a service I am not getting? I would like a refund of £34.99 into my account. Please reply. Thank you.

I see that you subscribed for a 30 day trial version of AVG TuneUp - Unlimited but not AVG Internet Security. When you subscribed for the 30 day trial version, you accepted for the auto renewal of this subscription for 1 year at the end of the trial period. You will be presented with this information while subscribing to 30 day free trial. We have also sent you a notification email regarding the auto renewal on 26th Jan 2018. Please check your inbox and spam box as well.
I'd also like to inform you that deleting AVG icon from your desktop does not mean that you have unsubscribed from auto renewal. You either cancel it through AVG MyAccount or contacted us for help with it.
However, we have forwarded your refund request to our refund team. They will process it and get back to you via email with a confirmation.
