Hi. I checked for any Safari extensions which there were none and completed a Safari browser reset and restarted my Mac but the virus is still there. I completed a deep scan and it found one threat which I resolved but that still didn’t get rid of the virus. The threat says… MacOS:ProxyAgent-A [Trj] Infected file is LeadingProtocol.dp Original location is /private/var/root/Library/Application Support/.Leadi
kind regards
Tim
Hi, thanks for your reply. Even though my safari browser is set to Google everytime I search it automatically redirects to yahoo search.
When I orignally installed the AVG software and performed a deep scan it would detect 5 ADLOAD viruses and clear the Yahoo direct but this is now not happening.
Kind regards
Tom
