Thanks but initially I couldn't even get to the account log in page (whichever link I tried gave me an error message) then when I eventualy got that page I could only log in to a blank page. However, I am sorted now - un-installed everything AVG then started again from the beginning and both the installation and activation went smoothly.

On 22Dec14 I bought AVG ultimate but couldn't install it so got a refund on 10Feb15. I then bought AVG Pro and eventually managed to get it installed with help (telephone call) from Technical Support (getting in contact with Tech Supp was a major problem in itself). However I am now getting a warning telling me that my AVG trial is about to expire so I am about to lose protection and asking me to extend my protection after only a month with AVG Pro installed. Could someone please help me get rid of the warnings and confirm that my AVG Pro installation is correct (nothing looks to me to be wrong in Control Panel/Programs)?
