It could be an older version of AVG that is installed on your PC. Please share a screenshot (http://avgclick.me/getscreenshot) of AVG dashboard to assist you further. Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.
My AVG Internet Security (paid) says you are not fully protected, update required. So I update and a panel comes up "Update Completed Successfully. You are currently up-to-date" but my AVG still says I am not fully protected even after I close the program and reopen it. I have done this multiple times, what is wrong with AVG!!!
