This isn't the expected behavior.
Let us check which component of AVG is blocking this action.
Open AVG Internet Security program interface. Click on "Menu–>Settings–>Components".
Use the slider icon available near "Web Shield" component and turn off its protection.
Probably, this should be the component that is blocking the email.
If it is not due to web shield, check the status by turning off other components.
After you install AVG AntiTrack, browser protection is enabled automatically for the following browsers:
Google Chrome
Mozilla Firefox
Microsoft Edge
Internet Explorer
Opera
To manually enable or disable browser protection for an individual browser, click the Browser protection tile on the AVG AntiTrack dashboard.
Browser protection is only compatible with the browsers listed above.

First of all thanks this week for your prompt response when your internet security package crashed without reason on my computer..

Your reinstated programmes all appear to be running but I have a problem. Since their installation, I cannot send Emails with attachments no matter how hard I try. Home pictures from my camera are the most attachments and in these cases there is absolutely no external risk. I have tried switching off temporarily turning off "Internet Security"  and "Anti track" but the problem still exists.

 On Anti Track your approved websites is not showing my browser "Virgin Media" and asks me for its URL. Do you know it and if so, could this make a difference?

I am convinced your software affected my ability to attach   these attachments  to my outward Emails so any help you can give me would be more than appreciated. Without the attachments there is no problem and it is working normally.

My present computer is "Windows 7" but I am getting a new "Wundows 10" shortly so this present computer will no longer run on the Internet
