Your wi-fi network is being watched

I have the same problem as the above on my tablet and phone which started 4th February.  I PAID for a professional Geek to check my network and devices plus laptop but clean bill of health and my WiFi is designated as a trusted network. So the problem is at your end AVG.  Please provide solution.  Thanks.

I have just started receiving the warning message "your wifi network is being watched" from Secure VPN on my Android phone.  I have searched for the message on Google and cannot find any references.  Does anyone know what "being watched" means and how I find out what is watching and how to stop it?

I am having the same message.  VPN switches on.  Switch it off and it immediately switches back on.  Checked on PC and there are no rogue connections.  Very frustrating as VPN uses way more battery and slows down connection speeds.

Hi… having the same problem. I suspect this is a fear based campaign popup.  I have checked all connections and devices on my network and there is nothing. 
my home networks are designated as trusted but the vpn seems to ignore this. 
AVG is a great piece of software but it comes at a premium price and I sense that the company wants to wring me dry by selling me every application in their suite of products. 
Would anyone from the company care to comment on  this particular campaign and specifically the tone of language they are using?

I've also been getting this for about a week.
sometimes the VPN seems to just all out block traffic, but i can't turn it off or pause it anymore because it just turns back on immediately.
