Forgive me if this is the wrong category. I wasn't sure which.
YouTube videos will not play for me. They simply stay on the black screen with the loading circle. This only started after I installed AVG (free version). I tried Google and I see this has happened to other people, the most recent I found was from 2013.
I haven't used AVG before (well, not for years anyway), but so I'm not very familiar with it. Any help?

Disabled it, but that didn't fix the problem. I guess it's not AVG that's interfering then.

I have the free version. I don't see an options tab. From the taskbar icon, I do have the option to switch the protection off.
