Youtube video avg secure browser

Hi Martin,I`m afraid its not something that can be gotten rid of yet.If you notice the error message persists EXACTLY as long as the Ads that are supposedly blocked do.The browser can only partially block ads at the moment.Hopefully when they get around to updating it and working the bugs out that will change but until then we are stuck with it.

I have both chrome & AVG secure browser installed. If I log in to youtube and click on a video:-
- in chrome the video plays instantly.
- in secure browser I get a black video screen "an error has occurred", but after approx 10 seconds the video does start to play.

I have cleared all caches and histories in both browsers, but this problem seems particular to avg secure browser.

Help please!

I suggest you to reinstall AVG Secure Browser from your PC and check if it fixes the issue.

I suggest you to uninstall it again with deleting the browsing data and reinstall the program.

If the issue still persists, we will offer additional support to check further.

Followed your instructions to the letter. Immediately after install I tried opening a YouTube video, before making any Settings modifications. Same "An Error Occured".

When I uninstalled I did NOT select 'delete all browsing data' - would it help if I repeated the uninstall / re-install with this selected ??
